Design development phase of the new library is nearly complete. The task at hand now is to complete construction bid documents. Both of these efforts are going very well as evidenced by the second (of three) cost estimates which have the project very much on target.
The Permanent Building Committee expects to receive the package of bid documents at its June meeting. Allowing for their acceptance, permitting process, bidding and negotiation of contracts the anticipated start is late summer.
